Home Zone Furniture offers a flexible layaway program with the following terms and conditions:
Down Payment and Payments
- A 20% non-refundable down payment is required for all layaway purchases.
- Monthly payments are mandatory to maintain the account in good standing.
- The total balance must be paid within six months from the account's opening date.
Pricing and Merchandise Availability
- Layaway accounts guarantee the price of your selected merchandise.
- Merchandise will not be held at the sale location once the account is opened, but the price will be guaranteed.
- Pick-Up or Delivery Notice: After making the final payment, a minimum of four (4) weeks’ notice is required before pick-up or delivery to ensure your order is in stock.
Refund Policy
- Refunds for Paid-in-Full Accounts:
- If your account is paid in full within 90 days and your merchandise is unavailable within four weeks, you are eligible for a full refund.
- If your account is paid in full after 90 days and your merchandise is unavailable within four weeks, you are eligible for a refund of all payments made, less 20% of the original total invoice amount. The 20% will be issued as in-store credit.
- Refund Window: Refunds are not issued after seven days from the initial layaway, except as outlined above.
Delinquent Accounts
- A layaway account is considered delinquent if no payments are made for more than 30 days.
- After 90 days of delinquency, the layaway account will be canceled, and all payments made will be converted to store credit.
- Merchandise will remain part of active inventory until the final payment is made.
