Three-Year Limited Fabric/Leather Stain Protection
What’s Covered?
If your fabric or leather furniture is properly maintained and becomes stained by:
- Food or drink normally consumed by humans
- Pet or human bodily fluids
Home Zone will take the following steps, in this order:
- Professional Cleaning: We’ll send a technician to clean the stained area. If the stain persists, notify us within five days.
- Re-Upholstery or Replacement: If cleaning doesn’t work, we’ll re-upholster the stained area. If fabric is unavailable, you may select a replacement piece of equal value. (Note: Dye lot variations may occur and are not considered defects.)
Requirements for Coverage:
- Follow the cleaning & care instructions on our website: hzf.us/care. Only use recommended cleaning products.
- Report stains within five days of occurrence.
Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover general soiling, odors, fading, wear from daily use, vandalism, or stains caused by items not listed above.
Three-Year Extended Service Agreement
What’s Covered?
This agreement protects against defects in workmanship, material malfunctions, and mechanical issues for 36 months from delivery/pickup.
Included Services:
- Repairs: Parts labor and transportation at no cost to you (transport excluded for nationwide deliveries).
- In-Home or Shop Repairs: Items can be repaired in your home or at our repair shop. Transportation is provided for local customers if needed.
Replacement Policy:
- If an item is deemed unrepairable, we’ll issue a store credit for the purchase value to select a replacement.
- Full replacement fulfills the warranty. (A new warranty can be purchased for the replacement item.)
Exclusions:
- Damage caused by impact, breakage, abuse, or neglect.
- Fabric pilling, odors, fading, or general wear and tear.
- Unsanitary or improperly maintained items.
Never Lose Protection
Unused Warranty Redemption:
If no service is performed during your coverage period, you can redeem the cost of your protection plan toward a new purchase of regularly priced merchandise ($299 or more).
Military/Moving Exception:
If you’re in the Armed Forces with a Permanent Change of Station or moving out of the service area, you may redeem your plan early or request a prorated refund.
Important Terms
- Timely Reporting: Claims must be reported within five days of discovering a defect or stain.
- Exclusions Apply: Coverage does not include clearance items, commercial use, or items moved from the original delivery address.
- Responsibility for Care: Maintain your furniture (e.g., upholstery cleaning, proper dusting/oiling) to keep the warranty valid.
- Service Limitations: Service is provided during business hours and is available to the original purchaser only.
- Right to Repair: Home Zone Furniture reserves the right to decide whether an item is repaired or replaced.
- Failure to Adhere: Failure to adhere to the service processes and policies will result in a refund and voiding of your extended warranty.
